syslog-protocol-03 presentation

[back to syslog-protocol]

This presentation has originally been created for the 2004 Seoul IETF meeting. It describes the reasoning behind syslog-protocol and gives a rough overview over key elements. It ends by showing most important open issues (at that time).

I assume the presentation is also of interest for anyone who is trying to get a better (or in-depth) understanding of the spirit of syslog-protocol. It probably is also a good source to learn about the philosophy behind the syslog protocol series.

This presentation was created at the end of February 2004.
